Hunters Easy to Play?

Sadly the answer is that a Chimpanzee could learn how to play a Hunter if properly trained. Hell those chimps are smart if we dont watch them real close were going to have a whole Planet of the Apes going on and then were would we be without our WoW fix. But seriously to the point of this ramble. Yes it is easy to learn the basics of playing a hunter. On the other hand thou it takes skill and dedication to really master the class. There is alot of micro managment that is needed to play a successful hunter. The skill set includes many things from tanking, crowd controling, healing our pet as well as manageing our pet in battles, drawing aggro away from the squishes when a mob is lose even if it means the death of your toon, and finall being a dps and a kiter. Not to meantion doing many of these things at the same time. There are many sites a that will explain how to develop your skills like chain trapping (crowd control), or jump shotting(used in Kiting a mob). My suggestion for fellow hunters is to go google BigRedKitty and watch his tutorials on these things it will really expand your skill if you dont know how to do these things already. My Point in this rambling is not to say that Hunters are harder to play then any other class or even that it is an easier class to play but when you run into a Hunter that is half way competent, throw us some love.

Great Quote

Ok you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The 12-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about $109.95. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?

Toon News

From now on my dwarve hunter Turdin is officailly: Turdin of the Shattered Sun. The reason I forked over the 1000 gold came down to, it was the simplest way to get a title in the game. I was always a fan of the old pvp titles which sadly I could never get because I started playing WoW after the took them out. Not to mention the other PvE (Hand of A'dal and Champion of the Naaru) titles were just to hard for me to get because of the effort and the time needed was above what I could give it. Did it hurt the pocket book to get it, you bet it did, but I think it was worth it. As well when the new expansion comes out it may become unavailable to get. Its something only a few people will fork over the gold for so its kind of like a statues symbol. Im just hopeng its not a symbol of idiocracy on my part.

Woot Ironman Woot

So i just went and watch Ironman on Tuesday. All I got to say about this movie is wow. This movie rates as one of my top three superhero movie favorites. This is how a superhero movie should be made. The acting was stellar from all involved. The action was intense but not over done. The story made sense from beginning to end. The Graphics were amazingly done. Ever part of this movie just worked so well. Is it going to be considered a modern day masterpiece no but for a superhero movie it did what it was suppose to do very well, entertain. This movie makes me have high hopes for Marvel Movies to come, that are produced by Marvel. Before this most of the marvel superhero movies have been good to puke but none in my opinion have been this great.

Oh yeah I'm more of DC comics fan to begin with but i might have to look into some trade paper backs of Ironman. Also my three favorite superhero movies are: Batman Begins (my favorite one), Hellboy and Ironman.

The Other Me

So about me in regards to WoW. I am the guild master of a small guild, named Control Alt Elite on the Blades Edge server. I have one 70 lvl Dwarven hunter named Turdin as well as a couple other alts that i may write about later. Right now I will focus on introducing Turdin. Well Turdin is a Beast Master Specced Hunter. His Professions are mining and Goblin engineering both maxed at 375. Hes pretty epiced out for the time issues that i have impossed on me in real life. With Turdin i do a bit of pvp and pve. On the Pvp side i mostly stick to 2v2 arenas were as on the Pve i do heroics and dailies. On hindsight I should of probably thought of a better name then Turdin. I get a lot of comments like "Hi Turd". "Turd Come here" and other ones that are less appropraite to say. My general come back to that is to laugh it off and say "Thats Mister Turd to you". So why a dwarf and why the hunter class. Well for the first question, I just like dwarves in general from the first moment I read about them in fantasy fiction. From that moment on I have always played a Dwarf character in any games that gave that option. As to the second question, the reason I picked Hunters is because they most closely resemble the ranger class from Dungeons and Dragons which is my favorite class concept from that game.

Hello

This is my first blog. I want to say thank you for coming and reading it. This is basically a place were I can be able to rant and rave and more then likely ramble about playing a Hunter in Blizzards World of Warcraft and about World of Warcraft in general. I will also talk about other things that catch my interest. Such as movies, comics, other video games and books. Please bear with me I'm no were near a good writer but hopefully with time I will become one.
