Woot My Anniversary Woot

I just realized that i have been playing this game for more then a year now. I remember way back when I started Hollow's End was happening and I was so wanting to take on the Headless Horseman but couldn't because I was to low of level to do so. So I have been able to take on the headless Horseman a couple of times not only on my level 70 hunter but also on my level 67 Holy Paladin. Not to bad for a guy who steadfastly (dont know if this is a word but im using it) refused to play a game that i had to pay per month. Now I'm hooked and from now on Hallow's End is my anniversary date.

The Invasion

So WoW is experiencing a Zombie Invasion right now. Being a fan of Zombie movies I'm not so sure as to which side is more fun. Being the Infected or one of the last survivors. Im liking how if you do turn into a zombie you take a direct hand in the chaos and carnage instead of being forced to only take one side and watch the events unfold against your character. It adds greatly to the immersion effect of the whole event. It does not matter if your chewing on someones arm or reloading your crossbow for another shot at the horde of mindless flesh eaters, you are taking a more active role in how the event effects your enviroment and thats always good in my book.

The To Do List.

This is a list of things i need to do before Wrath hits:

1. A mass 1000 or more gold to have some kind of buffer for the next expansion.
2. Explore both Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor so I can easily explore northrend at level 80 or before and then get the achievement World Explorer and get my second title (the Explorer)
3. Get my Dwarven Paladin as close to 70 as i can, he is right now sitting at level 62.
4. Decide on what pets I actually want to play with. So far i got a Gorrila, a Core Hound, wanting a Worm but might put off getting till I get to Northrend (cooler looking worms), a Chimerra (which I believe I will use for pvp) and then a Devilasuar. Although i really want a Rhino but got to wait for them and might get rid of either the Core Hound or Devilasuar.
5. oh yeah buy the expansion when I can, probably not getting it right away, maybe for an earlier christmas present to myself.

Personal Choice

My most favorite talent of all the ones that hunters can get is Spirit Bond. I know that alot of Hunters look at it as a pretty useless talent other then for leveling but there is a two main reasons why I will always run with this in any BM hunter build. The first reason is more of a roleplaying reason then anything, Spirit Bond is what links a hunter and a pet together, its a joining of the two beings which makes the whole more survivable then the individual parts. The second reason that I choose it, is because anything that makes me and my pet more survivable adds to the sustainable ranged dps that I can dish out. So if your like me and have some odd choices for were you put your talents, just remeber its your character and don't let anyone tell you that because you have something makes you a noob or that you need to learn to play. Although it is always good to know your class and what benefits it most because it allows you to make an informed decision. But remeber its just a game and have fun with it.

Epic Flying!!!

So a couple of days ago I final got enough money together to buy my epic flying moutn skill. It was along road of grinding dailies, selling everything and anything that was just sitting in my bank and grind rep for Sha'tari Skyguard. The reason I choose to grind the Sha'tari Skyguard was because when I decided to go for my epic mount it was cheaper in the long run with the discount I got from exalted for the actual Silver Riding Nether Ray mount then it would have been to buy the normal griffen epic mount. Not to meantion I was already pretty close to getting exalted with them anyways. So is getting an epic flying mount worth all the time and money? Yes, I cant say how much Im enjoying it. I have basically for the last couple of days just been enjoying flying around in Outland looking for gas pockets and mineral nods and not doing much else. There just something about Flying with a epic mount that makes it enjoyable were as before flying seemed like a chore and I would only do it when needed or when I did not want to run into any mobs. So my suggestion is if you feel your well enough geared go grind the dailies and whatever else you need to do to get your epic flying skill because once you have it, you will not reject it.

Mr Big

Ever since I started this game I have wanted a pet that was bigger then my toon. When I First say the Devilsaur I was like cool that getting more like it and so I was so the sure that would be the pet I would be playing with most. Then I get a glimpse of the Rhino and I was like WOW, so my attention shifted gears. From the video's that I say this thing is massive. This is a Mr Big chocolate bar were as all the pets are Mars bars (both are as far as I know are Canadian Chocolate bars so if you dont get the size comparision sorry). It may be kind of bland in the texture and overall shape, but it makes up for it in size. Im keeping my fingers crossed that this thing makes it onto the WotLK release, so when I load it up I can go and tame it right away and then when Im able to I will go a get a Devilsaur. But it is going to be a toss up as to which pet I will roll with most and it might be neather, who knows what I finally decide to go with but so far these two are my top choices.

Um... Okay?

So here I was reading about were all the pet families fall into the three classification of pets: Ferocity (DPS), Tenacity (Tank) and Cunning (Utility). When I noticed that Ravagers, one of the best Dps pets as of now is not consider a dps pet in Wrath of the Lich King but that moths, the ugly cousins of the butterfly, are consider a dps pet. I was like um ... Okay? Well I guess im going to have to wait and see how my trusty Ravager Loki performs in dishing out damage compared to a moth to see if I will give it up. Actually scratch that even if the Moth does more damage Im going to spec as Beast Master and go for the Devilsaur [http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?pet=39#screenshots:id=88494] if its still consider an exotic pet that beast master can only aquire. Just looking at the size of thing makes it awesome measured up against a Dwarf.
